MASSAGE THERAPISTS

Tennessee MT State Requirements

24 hours of CE due December 31 of every even-numbered year – Tennessee accepts 8 hours of OnlineCE.com courses

 

Special Requirements

  • 2 hours of Board Approved CE pertaining to Tennessee statutes and rules concerning massage therapists and establishments;
  • Two (2) of the 25 hour requirement shall pertain to the management of practicing massage therapy, professional ethics or substance abuse

Occupational Therapist

Tennessee OT State Requirements

24 hours of CE due biennially – Tennessee accepts 12 hours of OnlineCE.com courses

 

Special Requirements

  • 12 hours must be directly related to delivery of OT services
  • Requires 1 hour of ethics
  • Requires 1 hour of TN Rules and Laws
  • Note: 2 hours of online credit = 1 credit
  • Tennessee Automatically Accepts CE from AOTA Approved Providers

Occupational therapy assistants

Tennessee OTA State Requirements

24 hours of CE due biennially – Tennessee accepts 12 hours of OnlineCE.com courses

 

Special Requirements

  • 12 hours must be directly related to delivery of OT services
  • Requires 1 hour of ethics
  • Requires 1 hour of TN Rules and Laws
  • 2 hours of online credit = 1 credit

Physical Therapist

Tennessee PT State Requirements

30 hours of CE due biennially – Tennessee accepts 10 hours of OnlineCE.com courses

Special Requirements

  • At least 20 hours of the 30-hour requirement must be from Category I activities, and up to 10 hours of the 30-hour requirement may be from Class II activities.
  • Four (4) of the required hours must consist of ethics and jurisprudence courses which are a minimum of two (2) hours each in duration and must be Category 1 continuing competence.
  • OnlineCE are Class/Category I CE.
  • Do not take OnlineCE.com ethics courses at this time for license renewal.
