MASSAGE THERAPISTS

Maryland MT State Requirements

24 hours of CE due biennially – Maryland accepts 24 hours of OnlineCE.com courses

 

Special Requirements

  • 3 hours in ethics or jurisprudence
  • 3 hours in communicable diseases including AIDS/HIV
  • 1 hour Diversity or Cultural Competency
  • 17 hours Massage Therapy Related (i.e., techniques, anatomy, physiology, etc.)
  • In addition to the requirements a license holder shall possess a certification of qualification in CPR.

Occupational Therapist

Maryland OT State Requirements

24 hours of CE due June 30 of even-numbered years if originally licensed in even-number year – Maryland accepts 24 hours of OnlineCE.com courses

24 hours of CE due June 30 of odd-numbered years if originally licensed in odd-number year – Maryland accepts 24 hours of OnlineCE.com courses

Special Requirements

  • A minimum of 16 contact hours related to occupational therapy principles and procedures
  • A maximum of 8 contact hours through occupational therapy role-related activities
  • Maryland Automatically accepts courses from AOTA Approved Providers
